We appreciate your consideration of underwriting for our upcoming fundraiser on February 9,2008.  The money raised from this event will provide valuable funds to help us continue our wetland restoration work.  As shown on the map DU and its conservation partners have been very active in the Prince William, Virginia area.  

DU is a 501c3 non-profit corporation and we depend largely on donors like you as well and individual donations to maintain our restoration programs.

We are asking businesses and individuals to underwrite items we use at the event.  Contributions can be large or small and you may sponsor more than one item.  The contributions you make can also be in the form of merchandise or services.

DU has been active for over 70 years across the continent restoring nearly 13 million acres of wetlands and associated uplands providing nesting, rearing and cover for over 300 species of wildlife.  People are by far the greatest beneficiaries as wetlands provide purification of ground water, retention of flood surges as well as provide opportunities for many outdoor activities such as hunting and bird watching that center on wetland systems.

With your help and support we can be well on our way to another successful and fun evening for the ducks.
