Conservation Wins Big in the 2018 Farm Bill

14 million acres and counting.

Ducks Unlimited is the world's leader in wetland and waterfowl conservation. Our conservation programs have always had a strong biological foundation. That science and research continues today with hundreds of studies to address the habitat needs of waterfowl. Although a great deal of work has been done and many important questions answered, there is still much to learn about how the birds respond to landscape, habitat and environmental changes.

How DU Conserves:

  • Restoring grasslands
  • Replanting forests
  • Restoring watersheds
  • Working with landowners
  • Working with partners
  • Acquiring land
  • Conservation easements
  • Management agreements
  • Geographic Information Systems

Ducks Unlimited conserves, restores, and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North America's waterfowl. These habitats also benefit other wildlife and people.

Through its fundraising efforts the Prince William Chapter of Ducks Unlimited has raised thousands of dollars for wildlife and habitat conservation.
